Job Title: CNC Lathe Worker

Job Description:

Hougen Manufacturing is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards and efficient production processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Experience: Preferably 5 years of experience in CNC lathe operation.
2. Measurement Skills: Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
3. Machine Operation: Capable of running and maintaining part quality on 2 to 3 machines simultaneously.
4. Tool Changes: Able to perform their own tool changes efficiently.
5. Blueprint Reading: Can read and understand blueprints accurately.
6. Process Adherence: Follows part Process Sheets meticulously.
7. Code Knowledge: Knowledgeable in M & G codes.
8. CNC Functions: Familiar with basic CNC functions, including single block, optional stop, cycle stop, and feedrate override.
9. Tool Offsets: Able to make precise tool offsets.
10. Work Environment: Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
11. Physical Requirements: Can lift up to 50 lbs.
12. Teamwork: Works well in a team environment.
13. CNC Setups: Capable of performing CNC setups independently.

Operational Duties:

• Daily Maintenance: Perform daily equipment maintenance inspections, including lubrication, fluid checks, and chip handling
• Program Loading: Execute program loading and verification procedures as required
• Quality Assurance: Inspect products during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all industry safety standards and maintain necessary certifications
