The HMD904 continues to be the most popular model in Hougen’s line of magnetic drills, known for its powerful performance, lightweight design, compact footprint, and impressive hole capacity.

Key Enhancements:

• Permanent Rare Earth Magnet: Unlike traditional mag drills that rely on electro-magnets, the HMD904’s permanent magnet operates without electricity. It can be easily engaged or disengaged by turning a knob on the back of the magnet. The unique magnet design allows it to grip onto pipes without needing an adapter. The magnetic power is also better suited for drilling holes on thinner materials compared to traditional electro-magnets.

• Hidden Motor Cord Design: The motor cord is integrated into the drill’s motor casing and housing, enhancing safety and minimizing maintenance.
• Additional Features:
  • A built-in pilot light in the magnet helps operators quickly and accurately align the pilot with the hole’s center, even in low-light conditions.
